Opened in December of 1996, this Capt’n Nemo’s location has provided to thousands of New Trier High School Students, North Shore families and their friends, great soups, hearty chili, and huge sub sandwiches. Nestled on Greenbay Rd at the south end of Winnetka, (close to Wilmette) the small footprint and limited signage hide its charming interior.
The Winnetka Location was listed as a pit stop in Time Out Chicago’s 2017 edition highlighting the best bike paths. Near the Metra Indian Hill North Line station, it is near the Green Bay Trail located minutes away from bikers. Now offering all-in-one soup kits, gluten free and vegetarian Lentil or Split Pea – have Nemo’s when Nemo’s isn’t nearby.
